Frequently Asked Questions

Is Extra Hacks Associated with CCB (California Club Baseball)?

Yes, Extra Hacks is a partner program of CCB. See all of our partner programs here: Extra Hacks Partners

Do I need to play for CCB in order to participate in Extra Hacks?

Absolutely not. A player for any club team, league, or high school is welcome to join. Our goal is to help YOU become the best hitter you can be. Where you decide to play your club ball is your prerogative. We want to see an overall increase in the quality of baseball being played at the youth and high school levels, not just for one program.

What does joining the Extra Hacks Group Hitting Program Cost?

Our sessions are all different lengths 4-6 weeks, but our pricing generally falls in line with $100-$125/week for the unlimited plan and $50-70/week for the once a week plan. We try to encourage players to come more than once a week as consistent work is going to help in making adjustments stick.

If I sign up for once a week do I always need to come on the same day of the week?

No. We understand that kids have a ton going on and that you as parents can have anything come up in a moments notice. We are very flexible about how once a weekers choose to attend.

Can I join in the middle of an Extra Hacks session?

Yes. If you decide you want to join Extra Hacks in the middle of a session (i.e. November 18 for a session that starts November 1) we'd still love to have you. Some players have been coming to us for two years and some just one month so everyone is in a different place anyways. Obviously, we would pro rate your cost.

What are the "other" locations you are considering for the future?

We would like to start getting some work in San Francisco to make it easier for the kids from the city to attend more than once a week and also allow players from the North Bay to join. Please let us know in your inquiry if this affects your ability to join.

What if I don't want video being taken or posted of my player?

Not a problem. In the intro information sent out, it is asked if you don't want video taken. Video is only posted after an affirmation is received that the player and parent are both ok with it being posted.

Does Extra Hacks host private hitting lessons?

See our "About Us" page to see how we feel about the word "lessons". Some of our coaches will host private instruction, but that will go through the individual and not through Extra Hacks. This also may not occur at one of the listed facilities. In your inquiry, please note if this is something you are interested in and we can set you up with one of our staff.

Does Extra Hacks offer virtual hitting lessons?

We would be open to trying virtual instruction with players, but it would be in a beta phase until we figured out how to most efficiently do this. If you'd like to be a guinea pig for virtual instruction, please note this in the inquiry.
